Developing New Research Programs
and Careers
The ToGER CRE is
committed to helping promote and build the health
and medical research workforce by developing new
research projects and providing training for PhD
students and post-doctoral fellows that wish to
become part of our team. As part of this
mentorship, students and post-docs will acquire the
necessary skills to eventually develop their own
independent research careers. To achieve this goal
we endeavour to have our early-career scientists
conduct high quality research leading to
publication of their results, be able to initiate
and undertake new research projects, and
importantly, learn how to become successful in
applications for competitive grant funding.
